small things in life

virus: a thing that grows in someones body and multiplies more and more as time goes by. we would never realise it coming when it is small, but oni notice its presence as it gets large and difficult to be erased.

that is the same thing with our faults and weaknesses. its funny how we always ignore small matters that creeps into our thoughts or actions, thinking that it is just a small thing and it can be ignored. little do we know that these things are the main cause of larger and larger problems in our lives

small things in live have no harm to us until it gets larger. our attitudes, characters are all the same. when we meet some1 at first, what weakness that person( every1 has cos no ones perfect) has is evitable and take it as a small thing. oni when time passes, the conflicts get larger, problems get harder and harder to be solved and friendships would soon break out and turn into some kinda war.

i realised this yday. that whenever i feel like skippin church ill jus tel myself its only ONE DAY and it wouldnt happen again. the same thing happens over and over again. so it worsens and affects my relationship with Him at the same time. ignorance is bliss, but not for this matter.

we all have things that we wanna tell others. but we are afraid. we have feelings we wanna share. but we're afraid. we have things we wanna settle but we drag on. i guess this is just to remind me or everyone that we cant keep avoiding things that troubles us. cos sooner or later it will affect us and some things might be too late. and if its too late u would regret not doing it earlier and when u do regret u will mourn and wish u can turn back the time. and even if u wish u noe things wil never be the same again cos u cant turn back the time so u jus havta move on and learn from it. but why let those things go away if it means so much to u at that moment? some revelations might only happen once. like great opportunities. and great things. like life. u oni go throught life once. so do the best u can.

like my dad says it, " do it once and do the best you can"

anyway i had this thought.. i was lookin through my cupboard for something.. and then i saw my Bible.. couldnt find it and now i finally did..

im slowly drifting away man.. i cant believe it.. i need to come back.. somehow.. i dunno it jus seem disappointing that i am always disappointed by those who call themselves a believer of Him.. it doesnt have to end like this. i mean it cant end like this. i wouldnt wanna be in my 30s or 40s and realised i havent done anythin for Him during my youth life. wat happened to my ministry? wat happened to my dreams? wat happened to my life.. it doesnt look screw up considerin how i am doing in college, with my frens and all but somethings missing and i noe it has to Him...

i wish all those ppl who were there to support me are stil here to guide me.

the battle inside

lets face it; the laughter, fun and all the excitement in ur new life has already drown all d miseries and thought of memorable past, and u would definitely not want a slightest bit of a glimse of it in ur future. but wat if that nano piece of memory suddenly comes back to life and it drains out all other thoughts that you can have in ur small organ of urs?

i cant take it.. i mean i could but, not until today. i jus thought of it. and its pretty hard for me to go on like this. 7 weeks man.. its gonna be 8 soon. wat if it goes on? it wouldnt stop.

i remember when i was in australia. those bittersweet reminisced past that we shared. that was love. even the deaf would could hear it, even the blind could see it, and even those without feelings can feel it. ok fine i might be exaggeratin to make this post sound nicer lol. but after having gone through wat we had and when i look back i realised that " wow, we reli went through a lot man" but wat can we do now? are we still gonna take that blind step and try to hold on as we enter that big black hole, or should we just give it up and move on with our own separate ways? i reli dunno wat to do man

and why this post sounds so emo wan? hahahaha finally malaysian accent is back :)

Lantern Festival( believe it or not! )

And so! Jonlim and his college friends celebrated lantern festival!! :D





well i must say i actually stole ALL the pictures from SOMEONE hahahahhaa. cos i dun have my own camera to use. i dun like takin pics lar im sorry to hurt all my fans feelings. its ok its ok! it makes u guys wanna see me more face to face :p

so lynn invited us to her house for lantern festival. good thing alex came along if not id be d oni guy hahahahhaha. yeah so we had dinner first at her place, then lunch.. i MEAN! then we played taboo after tat. boi it was so fun; alex is SOOO good at this game man u shud play wit him someday ;)

then, nadia had to go back early for assignments :( so we dropped her, then went for supper.. RIGHT AFTER DINNER! :p




we had supper at kopitiam. the one in taipan. yeah. so this is a pic of alex eating his SOFT BOILED eggs with small kid disturbing him. ahyo wat a weird pic of him eating is eggs lar. the rest of them say he has a lot of facial expressions. mainly cos he has face problem lar hahahahah :p







so after droppin hooili and lynn, we were gonna drop jo ling back until we saw ppl playin lanterns at the park.. so.. hehehe u noe wat we did lar :p so we went back to pick lynn, get those lanterns and off to the park we went! :D

Raffles Date Game!

and so! jonlim went for the raffles dating game! boy it was fun man! hahahahaha cos some of the couples didnt come, so we had extra six tickets. so alex, ian and waleed to the rescue! they came and saw the show "love guru" wit us hahahahhaha boy it was hilarious man. and that wasnt the only the fun thing :D

we went to kim gary and had dinner together; me and sanny, lynn and alex(:p)another alex not my close one :D, then kaz and sherly( jus met them nice ppl), ian and waleed( sorry lar cos u two are not involved and came together), am i forgetting any1 else??? oh yeah alex phang as well. and so we had a good time chatting and all.

then we went to asia cafe to chit chat AGAIN! hahahaha i think its like some all night chit chat marathon lar lol. but oh well, the conversations, fellowships and all. its great. i love it! people usually think im a bad-boy, clubber, smoker, non- study type when they meet me the first time cos of my appearance i guess. and i prove them wrong! hahahahha take that!!! lol im totally opposite of tat man

and oh yeah! theres this two girls, they came to our table and started asking us football questions to give us as gifts if we answer correct. so me and ian were playing with them the whole time man! we didnt actually answer them cos one of them was actually helpin us d whole time! hahahahha( so sweet!) and yeah.. we won our prizes!!! a book calender of EPLs 2008-2009 season :)

finished homework!!!

FINALLY!!!

JONLIM FINISHED HIS HOMEWORK!! ahem! well not reli actually, i jus finished my ADVANCED FUNCTION work lol. well been doing it in my cousins house and i managed to take quite some time to finish it, about an hour?? imagine ppl! add maths is insane! i take an hour jus to finish up on 4-5 questions. and those 4-5 questions were finished half way d other day means i took one hour to finish half of those questions!

stress weh! i dun reli feel like doing engineering d :( lol summore oni CIMP math man! hahahaha
but i realised one thing; that ive actually not rushed to finish my homework for once and i even take a shorter time compare to if i was at home and were to TRY finishin it in front of the computer. i managed to even understand it more right now. i think i havta give more. put more effort into doing this and try not to get distracted. i need more will and concentration power!! cannot on d computer and do work edi lar later cannot finish and dun learn a thing summore :p

anyway thanks for d messages in the chatbox YES i wil update my blog to keep my INTERESTING SEXCITING .. I MEAN EXCITING! :p life updated to u guys :)

its stil alive lar! im jus busy with stuffs lately, especially college work! the assignments! the workload!! the homework!! and i havta study!! man!! its pretty hectic!! but look at the bright side!!
frens, fun, outdoor activities, fellowship; everything else is great besides work and peer pressure!
i guess life goes on..

i tot life would be different. it wouldnt be nice in college. ill miss high school. tats wat i thought. but i guess everything has to go on. and life itself is a record of ur time. it doesnt wait for u. u havta keep doing things to make it a memorable life as time flies.

im gonna take my drivin license soon. like next week tuesday??
and i jus came up with a pretty fun idea with adriel for games in worship camp. i think camps gonna be fun. gonna look forward to it baby! lol hahahha

well theres nothing much there is to describe but as long as u give all tat u have like make frens study hard play hard and all, ull love it man! and i seriously do!
oni bad thing is tat i guess u move on from high school life?? and frens. i mean i havta admit tat80% of them are not close to me anymore. even those i wished they would be. but sometimes some things have to be left behind. its not like i wan it to.. it has to work both ways.

anyway! im pretty busy with work everyday man! its fun and challenging at the same time stressful. but i guess its good cos i get to learn something everyday. im so glad i moved out from my old place man.

and sorry dat the blogs pretty dead; seriously busy with stuffs in college :)
